MY STORY

Hi there! I'm Yogi. Professional athlete with International Fitness Bodybuilding Federation. Published model and fitness expert for Status Fitness Magazine. I'm also a Health Coach, Personal Trainer, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Behavior change specialist, Weight Management Specialist and a few more...

I'm truly convinced that my love for fitness is in my blood. Fitness is LIFE. For me there is nothing better than physical activity because how it makes me feel, it is almost like an addiction.

When I was 7 years old I won my first running competition. When I was 10 years old I started competing in swimming and successfully gathered over 100 diplomas. I competed in triathlons just for fun and still placed. I did Spartan Races and Tough Mudder runs. A few years ago I started a new adventure and became a bodybuilding competitor. This is completely different from competing in a regular sport but so rewarding. I won two PRO CARDS in two different organizations before my baby girl was 1-year-old.

Let's start at the beginning. As a kid I was very active. No athletic performance was difficult for me. I liked challenges and always did my best. Already at an early age I tasted the winning prize and I learned how to deal with being defeated. But for me it was always something more than competing, I remember that feeling when showing up to the swim practice, all those endorphins and happiness suddenly came into play. Best feeling ever! This is what it was all about. How exercise made me feel. How free I was. My journey continued with sports since then. A few years ago I started lifting weights and I fell in love with that. It wasn't easy at the beginning because the gym where I was going to was filled with big, muscular guys and it was extremely intimidating. I remember how uncomfortable I felt first time lifting using only 10 lbs dumbbells. With my husband's help, his positive attitude, knowledge about fitness, and the great atmosphere he created, I overcame the fear and a few years later I became IFBB PRO. It is amazing how your mindset can change. I always thought that the gym is boring, now I think it's the best playground out there. It is also the best medicine that our body and mind can get.
